I am not Religious

Religion is for people who are afraid of going to Hell,

Spirituality is for people who had already been there.

I am quite allergic to rites and rituals,

and if religion is a system of beliefs expressed in worship by Rites and Rituals,

then I would have nothing of it.

For there is Nothing to Believe in the Buddha-Dhamma,

it is ONLY after one verifies it directly that one KNOWS.

The Buddha asked that we NOT EVEN BELIEVE HIM until we had verified what He taught by direct experience.

There is NO Leap of Faith in the Buddha-Dhamma, only a LEAP of Intellect demanded of everyone of us.

The Buddha did NOT ask to be Worshipped or Praised, He asked only that we LIVE a Noble Life based on the 8 Fold Path

We need Not be outwardly Religious But We Must be inwardly Spiritual, for it is The Mind that needs to be Purified and Trained, Not the Knees!
